Individual Counselling Services in Victoria & BC

One-on-One Therapy Victoria: Registered Counsellors, Confidential Care

Personalized Support for the Challenges You Are Facing Right Now

Individual counselling in Victoria BC provides a private, confidential space to work through whatever is weighing on you, with the guidance of a registered counsellor who is focused entirely on you. At Your Path Counselling, our one-on-one therapy sessions are grounded in evidence-based approaches including CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, tailored to your specific needs and goals. Sessions are available in person at 821 Burdett Ave, Suite 303, Victoria BC and via phone or video for clients anywhere in BC.

Personal counselling is not just for crisis. Many people come to us during periods of transition, when old coping strategies are no longer working, or simply when they want a dedicated space to think clearly and move forward. Our counsellors are registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), and hold Masters-level qualifications. You can read about our approach and techniques or hear from past clients on our testimonials page.

Every counsellor at Your Path Counselling holds a Masters-level qualification and is registered with a recognized professional body, such as the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. We match each client with a counsellor based on their presenting concerns, preferred approach, and schedule, rather than simply filling the next available slot. If the initial match does not feel right, we will find a better one. This matching process is consistently cited by our clients as a reason they stayed and made progress.

Our clinical team includes Dr. Scott Kouri (PhD, MA, RCC, Co-Founder and Clinical Director), a published researcher and specialist in Jungian analytic psychology, critical psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care, and Dr. Michelle Bass (PhD, MSW, RSW, RCC, co-founder), whose doctoral training spans social work, trauma, and relational counselling. Both bring academic and clinical depth that is uncommon in a community counselling setting.
